CRIMZN – BAXATTAX MIXTAPE VOL. 1 (2017)

Baxattax Mixtape Vol. 1 is an explosive collection of underground hip-hop built on aggressive lyricism, raw energy, dark subject matter, and CRIMZN's signature no-holds-barred approach to music. Rooted in the DIY mentality of the underground scene, the project showcases CRIMZN's ability to bring together respected artists while maintaining his own distinct sound.

Featuring collaborations with Danny Diablo, Pacewon, Ceekay Jones, Gov L, Hefty Metal, Suspect, Eyedos, Raw Deff, Judge Da Beast, and MrG5, the mixtape delivers 13 tracks of gritty, uncompromising hip-hop.

A special acknowledgment goes to the late Hefty Metal, whose contribution to this project remains a lasting part of its legacy. His presence on Baxattax serves as a reminder of the talent, friendships, and connections that make the underground hip-hop community what it is. Though he's no longer with us, his music and contributions live on through recordings like these. Rest in peace, Hefty Metal. Never forgotten.

From the menacing atmosphere of “We Creep” and the rebellious attitude of “Fuck You Disrespectfully” to the hardcore intensity of “Violent Music,” featuring Danny Diablo and Gov L, the project reflects CRIMZN's crossover influences from hardcore punk and underground rap. “Aliens Wave,” featuring Pacewon and Gov L, brings additional lyrical firepower, while “Unlearn What Ya Brain Knows” and “Is He Real” introduce more thought-provoking themes.

With tracks like “Bleed Out Ya Throat,” “Battlefield,” and “Death Before Dishonor,” Baxattax captures the unfiltered creativity and relentless attitude that helped establish CRIMZN's place in the independent hip-hop scene.

No mainstream blueprint. No industry backing required. Just raw underground hip-hop, heavyweight collaborations, and the unmistakable sound of CRIMZN.

Dedicated in part to the memory of Hefty Metal. Rest in power.
